Alice moved to Scotland in 2014 and lives in the Cairngorms National Park. Alice is an experienced long-distance swimmer and swimming coach with years of experience introducing swimmers to the joys of swimming outdoors and helping people to achieve their goals. In 2012 she completed a solo swim of the English Channel and in 2018 she swam the length of Loch Lomond (21.6 miles). After several years of working in environmental research and adventure travel operations, Alice decided to dedicate her all time and efforts to providing incredible opportunities and experiences for
swimmers around Scotland. She now runs, SwimWild, offering open water coaching and adventures in Scotland, and is also the event director of the Scottish Winter Swimming Championships.
